breadcrumbs is a husband and wife team that is more than just a bakery—we’re a passion on wheels serving Rialto, California, and beyond! Our mobile bakery specializes in crafting the finest organic sourdough bread, made with just three simple, wholesome ingredients: water, flour, and salt. With natural leaven as the heart of our recipes, we create bread that’s as pure as it is flavorful.

But our offerings don’t stop there.

We also bring you an array of delightful pastries as well as a cup of perfection - our  organic Guatemalan coffee. Every sip and bite is a testament to our commitment to quality and tradition.

Our story began with a quest for the freshest bread and coffee. Disheartened by what we found, we decided to turn that frustration into a labor of love. As proud Guatemalan and Mexican Americans with deep Christian values, we see our bakery as a way to honor our heritage while serving our community with the excellence it deserves.

Why Guatemala - Born in Zona 1 Guatemala City, Guatemala, founder Henry Alvarado wanted to make delicious treats that were native to the rich culture and rooted in his heritage.  Guatemala is known for its flavors and comfort dishes.  With lush mountain ranges of high altitude, volcanic soil and adequate climates, the Guatemalan coffee roast is one of the best in the world.

Why breadcrumbs - Building breadcrumbs was always more than a business—it’s about creating a mission-driven space rooted in integrity, compassion, and service to our community.  You may have noticed the "b" in breadcrumbs is lower case.  That is intentional to allow God to always be at the center of everything we do and everyone we serve. We believe God has placed guiding ‘breadcrumbs’ in the form of scripture, inviting humankind to return to Him, honor Him, and illuminate this world with His light.

 

Why Inland Empire - Living in the Inland Empire for many years, we believe that serving the surrounding community first is important.  We also love our surrounding cities :) and will travel many miles for a chance to share our treats with you.
